Divergent is the novel debut by the writer Veronica Roth, is the beginning of a trilogy that include:
Divergent, Insurgent and Allegiant.
The novel it´s about the end of the civilization (or post- apocalyptic) in the world, it is located in Chicago. The survivors are divided into five "factions"that are: Abnegation, Erudite, Amity, Candor and Dauntless.
The story have two main characters: Beatriz "Tris" Prior and "Four".
Tris tries to survive in that society, she considerate herself dangerous for her faction, that´s how she meets Four, a man who will help her.
The novel has been compared with other novels like Maze Runner or The Hunger Games, because the success of the books led it to become a movie saga.
The Divergent trilogy of books and movies are incredible, i recommend it for teenagers or persons that like the Science Fiction.
